You know, the band and I are always busy.  We’ve been playing a lot in the last couple of years.  However, it is not often that I get the chance to open for two huge icons within 10 days of each other.  

Last Thursday Boz Scaggs was at the State Theater in Minneapolis.  Kevin and I were asked to be a part of the show.  We couldn’t have been more excited.  Getting to play to 2000 people is not something we get to do every day.  I’d like to think we won them all over.  I know we sold a lot of cds!   Boz put on a great show.  He has a humidifier blowing at him.  It’s placed right next his microphone.  That’s when I decided, I know I will have made it when I have my own personal voice moisturizer.  Must be rough!

Next up, we are opening for Marc Cohn this coming Monday night at The Guthrie Theater.  We’ll take a Walk in Memphis with our True Companions.  I’m sure it’ll be great.  Hope to see some of you there!  I’ll keep you posted as things progress.
