Destination of the day? Denver, Colorado. Length of stay 21 hours. Today is a little different than normal. We traveled here by plane and got to bypass our usual hours in the Suburban. Also, we are traveling as a duo, not the full band.
Kevin and I spent the entire flight thanking god that Denver is only a 2 hour flight since we had two screaming children kicking our chairs the entire flight. I’m not talking love taps. I’m talking physically trying to move our entire row forward. They failed. However, my butt may be bruised. I love kids as much as the next person. More even. But seriously people! There is no way my parents would’ve let me behave like that on a plane. In my opinion, I’m better for it.
This takes us to Denver and next came lunch. We ate at the world’s largest soup and salad buffet. Soup and salad, not bad. However, the vanilla pudding resembled something from Alien and it scared us far away from the entire dessert section.
Again, out of the norm for us, we are staying in a really cool hotel. Westin has this new brand called Element. It’s pretty cheap and everything here is Green and Eco-Friendly. I love it. I may never leave. Except that now it is time to go play our show. Then tomorrow morning we’ll head home and prep for next weekend’s travels.
Next week: 4 shows, in 3 days in 4 cities, with 1 photo shoot.
Ah, life on the road.

Hi Alison,
I really enjoyed the energy and style of the band at the MN State Fair.
I hope that your busy tour schedule produces great results and that you are blessed with the joy of positive connections and interaction with others.
I passed my book to you, “Star Points: Connections Old and New.” I am wondering how you are enjoying it?
Please let me know.
Sincerely,
