Destination of the day? Denver, Colorado. Length of stay 21 hours. Today is a little different than normal. We traveled here by plane and got to bypass our usual hours in the Suburban. Also, we are traveling as a duo, not the full band.
Kevin and I spent the entire flight thanking god that Denver is only a 2 hour flight since we had two screaming children kicking our chairs the entire flight. I’m not talking love taps. I’m talking physically trying to move our entire row forward. They failed. However, my butt may be bruised. I love kids as much as the next person. More even. But seriously...

You know how I know? Because my crazy neighbor down the street just started putting out her plethora of lawn ornaments and twinkly lights. Tell me something, if there was only 1 baby Jesus, why does she need 7? And so it begins, before you know it you won't be able to escape it. Lucky for me, I love Christmas time. Just seems a bit premature.
However, the band and I need to start getting ready now. So I should stop dragging my feet and embrace it already. All the holiday parties and company parties will start sooner than you think. We have to be there, ready to bring down the house....

Oh, something else that happened recently, a little fun fact for you all...I won this contest. It's a website based out of LA. Every month they pick a "vocalist of the month." Here is a link to the article,...

I always know they are great, but don't normally get to see them from an outside perspective. Last night however I got to go watch my bass player (that would be Steve Price) play in another band of his, 2 Tickets 2 Paradise. I have to say, it was a little weird seeing him from...

So, with as much garbage as you can find on the internet these days...some good does come of it. I received this email yesterday. A man who had never heard of me before, but stumbled across my songs on itunes. I gained a fan. From Saskatchewan no less. Here is what he said:
"The other day I was thinking of the old song 'Can't Find My Way Home'. So I looked for it on itunes and found various versions including Blind Faith and the Johnny Winter live version. But the one that really caught my attention was by a singer I regret I had never heard of - Alison Scott. So I made the purchase...
